Dear Computer Lady,
I tried a help you had in your letter and I goofed up.
You told us how to put any program from you start button on your desk top. Well I did but I forgot to use my right mouse button. I used my left one.
How do I get it back on my start button? You did mention it is harder to do. I hope you can tell us how.
Thanks for all the great items you have in your news letter.
Glatha
Dear Glatha,
I figured I would have to answer this question eventually! This doesn't always work on the first try, but keep trying and it should work.
Drag the icon to your "Start" button and hold it there until the Start menu opens up.
Drag it up to "Programs" and hold it until the programs menu opens.
Continue doing this until you reach the place you want the shortcut to go and then release the mouse button.
Sometimes, your mouse will "drop" the icon before you get it to where you want it to go, you just have to go back and start the process over again. After a few tries, you should be able to get it back where it was.
If you keep dropping it, just drag the icon to your start button and release your mouse. This will put the shortcut in your "Start" menu.
