Dear Computer Lady,

I have a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition: I had the solitaire game on my desktop. It is gone and the only way I found it again was to go to Help & Support click on music, videos, games, click on window games, click on solitaire, click on solitaire again (right column), click on open solitaire, the game appears and I can play.

I would like to either move it to my desk top or into programs. How can I do this?

Thanks for your help, Thea

Dear Thea,

To create a new shortcut to the solitaire game on your desktop, all you need to do is find the file and then right drag to your desktop and create a shortcut. To start, we need to find the file.

Click on "Start" and then "Search".

Click to find "Files or Folders" and search for sol.exe

When the search window shows you the file, drag it with the right mouse button to your desktop. When you release the mouse, you will be able to chose if you want to move, copy or create a shortcut. Click "Create Shortcut Here" and you will be able to start your game by double clicking the desktop shortcut.
