To begin, we will need to create contacts in your address book. After that, you will be able to create a group of contacts.
Lets get started by putting the individual people in your address book.
With Outlook Express open, click on "Contacts" on the left side of your screen, then click on "New Contact" as shown by arrows number one and two.
If "Contacts" is not visible on the left side of your screen, click on "View" in the menu bar and then click on "Layout..."
This will bring up the Window Layout Properties box, pictured to the left.
Click in the box labeled "Contacts" to put a check mark there, and then click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the window to save your changes and close the window.
Once you have clicked on "Contacts" and then "New Contact", you will see a window that allows you to enter information about your contact.
Simply enter your contacts name in boxes 1, 2, and 3. You can skip the middle name

Repeat this process for each new contact.
Once you have entered all your contacts, you are ready to create a group. To create a group, you need to open the address book. You can do this in one of two ways.
Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and then click on "Address Book..." (steps 1 and 2 below)
Or you can just click on the address book icon that the "B" arrow below is pointing to.
Once your address book is open, click on the button that says "New" and then in the drop down menu, click on "New Group..."
A group window will appear, type a name for your group, then click on the "Select Members" button.
In the "Select Group Members" window, click on the name of your first group member, click on the "Select" button and that name will be added to the "Members" section of the window. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have all your group members in the "Members" section on the right. Then click "OK" in this window and click "OK" again in the group window. You can also close the address book at this time.
You will now be back in the regular "Outlook Express" window. Look in the "Contacts" section in the bottom left, and you will see your group listed there with your other contacts.
